Step 1 . Unpacking MK-01 Vertical Printing Machine Parcel
Unpack the boxes or MK-01 wall printer parcel and check the items against the cargo list.
Step 2 . Assembling the Vertical Printing Machine Casters
Attach the casters and tighten the screws diagonally. The height of the casters is adjustable. Assemble all casters in sequence.
Step 3 . Connecting the Vertical Printing Machine Ground Rails
Connect the ground rails by aligning the pins and inserting them. Tighten the side buckles. Ensure all ground rails are connected. Adjust the buckles to be slightly tight for best results.
Step 4 . Checking the Ground Rails
Ensure the cylindrical surfaces of the ground rails are seamlessly connected to avoid damaging the guide rail slider or Vertical Printing Machine. The leftmost ground rail has two guide pins for easy alignment.
Step 5 . Attaching the Entry Bracket
Snap the entry bracket onto the leftmost ground rail profile. Extend the distance between the brackets to the maximum. Do not place it in the center.
Step 6 . Placing the MK-01 Vertical Printer Equipment Body
Place the main body of the wall printer on the entry bracket. Carefully push it into the rail using the guide shaft. Avoid applying excessive force as the guide rail is a precision component.
Step 7 . Assembling the Wall Printing Machine Display
Attach the wall printer machine display to the red panel and adjust the angle and tightness of the display bracket.
Step 8 . Inserting the Vertical Printing Machine Column
Insert the column, align the pins, and press the red button to release and tighten the fixture. Release the button once fully inserted to lock the column in place.
Step 9 . Assembling the Support Rod
Attach the support rod using hand screws. Ensure the hand screw on the red panel in the center is connected to the support rod for stability.
Step 10 . Installing the Drive Belt
Adjust the position of the synchronous wheel and install the drive belt. Move the machine head up to one meter and place the non-slip pad under it to prevent sliding. Adjust the belt tension using the tensioning device at the end of the head.
Step 11 . Installing the Ground Rail Drive Belt
Open the main chassis door and place the drive belt onto the synchronous wheel. Ensure the belt is aligned and passes over the two idler pulleys. Fix the ends of the drive belt to the sides of the ground rail and tighten the screws.
Step 12 . Vertical Printing Machine Track Moving Check/Test
Manually push the machine to ensure it slides smoothly before powering it on.
Step 13 . Save the Printing Artwork Image to TIFF Format
Open Photoshop on your computer, find the desired image, convert the color mode to CMYK, and save the image as a TIFF file (save it to the desktop or a USB drive for easy access).
Step 14 . Setup Wall Canvas Image for Vertical Printing
Open Ultraprint, create a new canvas (Ctrl+N), right-click in the blank area, and select “Add Image” (Shift+A) to find the saved image. Rotate the image 90 degrees, then click “Print Canvas” (Ctrl+P). Set the resolution to 720×1080, ensure the curve shows HS_PP_D1_4color_BY-UV, and click “Print”. Name and save the file to the desktop and wait for it to load.Related reading:What is wall printer
Step 15: Adding Ink and Doing Wall Printer Flash Test
Add Ink: Do not tighten the ink cap. Perform Flash Test: Click the “Flash” button. Stick a piece of paper on the nozzle and wait for 5 seconds. If 6 lines appear complete and without impurities, you can proceed to print. If there are impurities:
- Select “Print Set”.
- Choose “Base Modify”.
- Adjust the flash frequency from 1Hz to 256Hz.
- Click “Save” and perform the flash test again for 3-5 seconds.
- Adjust back to 1Hz and perform another flash test.
- Ensure the lines are complete and free of impurities before printing.
Step 16: Printing on wall murals with BetterPrinterApp
Open BetterPrinterApp: In the task browser, select “Desktop”. Choose the image you want to print. If the image is not in a blank area, right-click on the preview button and select the image. Position the Image: Calculate the desired printing position. Move the machine left and right. Follow the up and down steps as shown in the figure. Reset the machine. Click “Print”.
